Prairie Action League plans February dance

Prairie Action League met January 9 at the back room of the Legion. PAL members had the opportunity to see the Terry High School scorer’s table. Members agreed the table looked great. The club provided the school with $1500 to apply to the table from the "T" project.

The club decided not to renew their Clean the Highway contract as membership wasn't large enough to do the job properly.
The annual PAL dance will be held February 11. It will be a sweetheart dance and PAL is asking people to wear "red" as part of their wardrobe.
PAL members have not decided who the dance will benefit, but hope to have that decided in a couple of weeks.
The Bump N Run was also discussed. It is scheduled to be held August 4, during the Prairie County Fair. A meeting with the fair board will be held later this week to verify dates.
PAL's December chili feed was held to benefit the Prairie Community Hospital residents. The evening event raised $285.
The funds raised will be used to buy flannel sheets for PCH residents.
Although the crowd was small, those attending were very giving.
