Local artist featured

        Terry artist Elizabeth Smith is the featured artist for April at Dawson County Arts Unlimited/The Gallery in Glendive. 

Over the years, Smith has participated in many art exhibitions, from college shows to county fairs and craft shows. Her most recent awards included "People's Choice Award (2D)" for her acrylic landscape painting displayed at the 2011 Custer County Art and Heritage Center Auction Exhibit and Honorable Mention for her illustrated paper quilt entitled "Flying Geese", which was accepted into the 2012 "Works on Paper" juried exhibit through the Custer County Art and Heritage Center. 
Smith also enjoys participating in the annual Quick Draw event at the Bucking Horse Sale event held every May in Miles City. 
She owns and operates her own home-based art business called "Just About Everything" and has been an active member of the DCAU Gallery in Glendive for a number of years.
