Terry track teams compete at Sidney Invite


  The Terry High School boys track team finished eighth while the girls team finished with 6 points, tieing Wibaux and Miles City for fifteenth at the Sidney Invitational track meet on Saturday. 

Garnering 26 points, the Terry boys finished behind Miles City 86; Sidney 76; Dickinson, N.D, 69; Glasgow 63; Savage 38; Glendive 37; and Plentywood 32.
Trailing the Terry boys were Poplar, 21; Culbertson 18; Fairview 12; Baker 10; Colstrip 10; Froid-Lake 8; Scobey 6; Trenton-Trinity Christian, N.D., 5; Circle 4; Nashua 2; Westby 2; and Ekalaka and Wibaux teams both earning 1.
Girls team scoring were as follows: Sidney 87, Glasgow 86, Glendive 75, Plentywood 61, Colstrip 50, Baker 28, Westby 24, Circle 20, Savage 19, Scobey 17, Lambert 16, Wolf Point 10, Culbertson 8, Wibaux 6, Terry 6, Miles City 6, Trenton-Trinity Christian, N.D., 4, Fairview 4. 
Junior Layne Lantis earned silvers in the 800 and 1,600 meter runs. Seniors Weston Luedtke took fifth on the shot put event while Trevor Pisk placed second in the javelin.
On the girls team Sophomore Caitlin Lantis finished fourth and fifth in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs respectively.

The Terriers will compete at the Elks meet in Glendive April 27 and 28.
