School levy passes, trustees selected

 With about 41 percent of registered voters casting ballots in Tuesday’s election, a $20,000 technology acquistion and depreciation fund levy for Terry Public Schools was approved. The majority of voters also supported incumbent Charles Deisher for another 3-year term as trustee for the Hospital District and write-in candidate Kelly Hubbert for school board trustee. 

Of the 853 registered voters in Prairie County, 347 ballots were either submitted at the polls or mailed out for absentee voting, according to Terry Public Schools Clerk Cathy Kalmback.
