Carolyn Rae Huber of Carson Washington passed away on Sunday, May 6th surrounded by her husband, daughters and sister. Carolyn had fought a long and courageous battle with her health.

She was born on January 8th, 1952 in Glendive MT, the second child of Sonny and Ruth Carlson. Carolyn spent most of her young life in Prairie County with a few years in Washington and Georgia.
Carolyn married the love of her life, Duane Huber, on November 14, 1969 and they spent 43 years together. Carolyn and Duane were blessed with two lovely daughters, Michelle Lee and Brandee Rae.   Carolyn worked hard all her life assisting and supporting Duane in all their endeavors.  Carolyn played hard with a zest for life creating gifted one of a kind treasures from cloth, wood and even twigs from her yard.  Carolyn loved flowers, gardening, pets and wildlife, especially hummingbirds. One of Carolyn’s greatest joys were her grandchildren, Jordan Rodriguez (15), Skyler Rae (11) and Charli Rose (8).  She passed along her passions for fishing, baking, gardening and crafts to them.
If you ever crossed paths with Carolyn, you would know what a caring and loving person she was.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Duane (Carson Wash.), daughters, Michelle (Gary) Elfrink (Woodland Calif.), Brandee Huber (Carson Wash.), mother, Ruth Carlson (Livingston Mont.), brothers, Kenneth (Jean) Carlson (Boerne Texas), Gregory (Mary) Carlson (Coulterville Calif.), sister Deborah (Lester) Henry (Livingston Mont.) and sister-in-law Jane Huber (Keizer Ore.).  Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Raymond and a baby brother.
Per Carolyn’s wishes no services are planned.  Carolyn’s ashes will be spread by her family this summer out on Crackerbox Route.
