Jensen was born October 19, 1952 in Scobey to Dixie (Whipple) Morast and Frederick Jensen, both of Scobey.
He graduated from Terry High School in Terry, Montana and went to work for the family farm in Terry, then moved to Wolf Point to work for his uncle Bruce Brookman. He moved to Kalispell in 1993 and worked for Flathead County Maintenance Department until 2002, at which time he returned to Scobey where he was employed by Nemont Telephone Cooperative.
He is survived by his brothers, Mike (Paula) of Scobey, Kenny “Ike” (Hwang Ye) of Columbia, Georgia, and his sister, Kim, of Billings. Also surviving Perry are his three nieces, Shelley Buer and family of Scobey, Suzie Costin and family of Billings, Patty Swint and family of Columbus, Georgia; aunt Eddy Benson of Kalispell; great aunt Cleo Corey of Scobey.
Perry will be most remembered by his family and many friends as a natural caregiver. He was always there to mow a lawn, shovel a walk, look after pets, or just give a helping hand — with a smile and that cigar!
Memorials can be made to Daniels Memorial Hospital Foundation’s South Patio Project in Perry’s name.
