Wrapping up an even 2-2 season so far, the Terry gridders rolled past the Rosebud Wranglers Saturday afternoon, 57-12.
Terry came out sharp the first half putting up 43 points.
"The kids came out and played hard and practiced a few things that we needed to work on. It was nice seeing the kids have fun," stated head coach Nathan Christofferson.
With a solid lead the JV squad took over the entire second half.
"With the JV players getting time on the field just helps the program get stronger and stronger. They played very well and I am confident in the upcoming program," "Christofferson stated.
DJ Hubbert broke the school record for 6 man with a 37 yard field goal. The school record had been held by Jerett Freiboth with a 34 yard field goal.
Terry JV stomps Mustangs
Hosting the Jordan JV team, the Terriers came out on top with a 78-26 victory. It’s the third straight win for the squad.
With impressive work ethic and desire, the JV squad works hard, has great chemistry, and get the job done, stated Christofferson, adding, “Coach Mendenhall has these kids rolling at the moment."
Terry will host Jordan on Saturday for the Terriers 2nd home game of the season.
