A fire consumed large portions of a Bert Street trailer house in Terry Saturday evening.
Volunteers from the Terry Fire department and Prairie County Fire Department arrived at 413 Bert Street shortly after 11 p.m., according to Prairie County Sheriff Bill Klunder. Crews stayed on the scene until after 2 a.m.
The westend of the 1970’s model trailer home suffered most of the damage.
Fire Marshal Jerry Smith investigated the scene Monday and found that the fire was accidental, caused by a wiring issue within the walls, according to Klunder.
