Lindsay Stickel named FCCLA president

  Lindsay Stickel, daughter of Elton and Lynn Stickel, has been moved to the position of state FCCLA president. She was elected as 1st vice president at the March 2012 state conference in Billings this past spring. 

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the current president stepped down. Stickel was appointed by Megan Anderson, state FCCLA adviser on Monday, December 3, 2012. She assumes the responsibilities associated with the position and will oversee the March 2013 meeting in Billings.  
Lindsay, her adviser Jody Haidle and other officer team members from across the state will travel to Helena in January to meet with the new governor as part of her job title.
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is the student organization of Family and Consumer Sciences. 
FCCLA is “The Ultimate Leadership Experience” and is unique among youth organizations because its programs are planned and run by members. It is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as its central focus. Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, careers, and communities.
