      On May 9, 2013, Dorothy H. Herriges passed away peacefully of natural causes. Dorothy was 68 years old. Dorothy Herriges was born October 28, 1944 in Roseburg, Oregon to Helene Marie and Franklin Daniel Herriges. Dorothy went to school in Glide, Oregon where she graduated from Glide High School in 1963.

On January 16, 1965 Dorothy was united in marriage to Edward Henry in Roseburg, Oregon. This union brought two sons, Dion Lee Henry and Dexter Allen Henry. Although, Dorothy only bore two sons, she was "mom" to all the kids that hung out at the house. Family friend, Greg Hickman says "Dorothy was a great woman and mother, she will be greatly missed."
Dorothy moved to Terry, Montana in 1997. She lived in Miles City for a few years and worked at GMC Liquors. She returned to Terry in June, 2012, where she worked at 4-Corners Convenience until her passing. 
Dorothy loved to watch NCIS and was a loyal fan of NFL team Seattle Seahawks. She also enjoyed target shooting with a pistol and she was a pretty great shot says her son, Dion Henry. She enjoyed taking drives and long walks in the country.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons; Dion (Trisha) Henry of Fallon, MT and Dexter (Carrie) Henry of Glide, OR. Grandchildren, Allen (Lindsey) Henry of Glendive, MT,  Andy Henry and Crystal Henry of Terry, MT, Kelsey Bales and Michael Bales of Roseburg, OR, Rebecka Henry and Evin Henry of Glide, OR. Dorothy is also survived by three siblings, Donald (Barbara) Herriges of Tacoma, WA, Del Raye (Eddie) Miller of Roseburg, OR, Daniel Herriges of Glide, OR and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Helene Herriges, sister, Donna Herriges and her loving companion Jim Hughes.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the American Legion Post #32, 112 S. Logan Avenue, Terry, MT from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Followed by a luncheon.
