Calls were received Monday late afternoon by the Prairie County Sheriff’s office reporting sightings of two funnel clouds west of Terry. The calls came in shortly before 5 p.m., according to Sheriff Bill Klunder. Art and Kathy Henry called in one sighting as they were traveling in the eastbound lane along I-94.
The Alert and Warning Siren was sounded shortly after the calls came in. Neither funnel cloud made ground contact, said John Pisk, director of Disaster Emergency Services.

Individuals are reminded to go inside when the town’s emergency siren emits a long steady wail and to turn on a radio or television for further instructions.
