Party will honor Lily Engelbright’s 100th birthday

A community celebration is being held for Lily Engelbright who will be celebrating her 100th birthday.

Light refreshments will be served Sunday, June 30 at 2 p.m. through 4 p.m., at the Prairie Community Hospital.
Lily was born June 30, 1913 in Minnesota to Pete and Georgia Davidson. She is the oldest of four children and the only one remaining.
She and her family moved to Montana to the Union country when she was 13 years old.
She met and married the father of her 8 children John Scheitlin who was working for her father as a ranch hand at that time. They lived in the Union community on a small ranch until his death in 1957.
Lily has a large family of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grand children.
She later married Bill Engelbright. The couple moved to Fallon where her love for animals inspired an almost zoo like atmosphere on their farm east of Fallon. Lily can still do a good impression of a peacock call — one of the many kinds of animals that lived on the Engelbright Place.
Now living in the Prairie Community Hospital, Lily’s family is grateful for the incredible care she receives from the caregivers there.
The family is inviting the community to come and join in celebrating Lily’s 100th birthday celebration.
