Storm’s cleanup brings out Fallon’s best

The Fallon community came together after last week’s storm, which uprooted
several trees and downed power lines, among other damages caused by wind
gusts of up to 100 miles per hour. Fallon saw the worst of the storm that hit the
area Monday, July 8, according to officials from the National Weather Service of Glasgow. But members of the Fallon community also say they witnessed the best
of human spirit the following day, as Fallonites came together, using tractors and
other equipment to clear debris from yards and streets. The pile of debris lies on the east end of Fallon.
