Coach Greg Mendenhall
The Terrier JV squad traveled to Rosebud Monday night to take on the Rosebud Wranglers. The JV boys showed up ready to play.
After receiving the kickoff they marched right down the field, 71 yards and 9 plays later they had a touchdown. That led to a 50 to 6 Terrier victory.
Terry was able to accumulate 350 yards of offense and 8 touchdowns against the Wranglers. Running sweeps was the cornerstone of the game with a skilled crew of running backs trading off to keep fresh legs on the field.
Trevin Schroeber lead the team with 4 touchdowns from 10, 3, 40 and 10 yards out and 1 extra point; Austin Smith scored 2 from 3, and 35 yards out; Justin Kinn scored 2 times on a 10 yard run and a 30 yard interception; finishing out the scoring was Zac Gierke with an extra point.
The defense only allowed on touchdown, a long pass. They played hard and never let up on the Wranglers. Terriers took turns keeping huge amounts of pressure on the Wrangler quarterback. They held the Wranglers to 110 total yards of offense and one score. The leader on defense was Tryston Seteren with 7 tackles, and 8 sacks; Connor Self with 2 tackles, 2 sacks; Austin Kountz with 2 tackles, 1 fumble recovery; Colt Carpenter with 2 tackles, 1 sack; Justin Kinn with 2 tackles, 1 interception; Austin Smith with 2 tackles; Trevin Schroeber with 1 interception; and Dylan McCulley with 1 tackle.
Congratulations Terrier JV on a game well played.
