Hospital announces new administrator

Glendive Medical Center and Prairie Community Hospital announced today that Michael Blauer has been named the new administrator for the facility located in Terry.  GMC provides management services at PCH, including employment of their administrator.

Blauer is currently serving as an administrative resident at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado, which is a part of Poudre Valley Health System in Fort Collins, Colorado.  He obtained his master’s degree in Health Services Administration from University of Michigan in 2008, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a dual major from Idaho State University in 2006.   Immediately following graduation from U of M, Blauer served as an administrative intern for St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan.
Michael and his wife, Amy, will be relocating to Terry in the near future.  He assumes his new responsibilities at PCH on June 15.   Blauer replaces Reed Reyman, who became the CEO and President of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson, North Dakota in April.
