Lady Terriers claimed a fourth place finish at the State Class C volleyball tournament and devasted what may have become a longstanding myth for the Terry team - that rival team Circle Wildcats were unbeatable.
The tournament, held in Bozeman Nov. 12-14, pitted the Terriers against the Wildcats in their third match, only a week after the Wildcats had surpassed the Terriers to claim the divisional championship.
Again showing Terrier drive, and tenacity, the girls played four close matches.

Rebounding from an initial defeat, the Terriers came back in their second match. Playing against Sunburst, the Terry girls lost their first set, but soon overcame that loss to win the four set match, 22-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-11.

It was their third match that had the Terry Terriers again facing the Circle Wildcats. While the Wildcats had proven challenging in previous matches, they were ultimately defeated at the state tournament, a testament to the tenacity of the Terrier girls.
In a dramatic back and forth five match set, the Terriers fought hard, winning the initial match, losing two, and coming back with fourth and fifth match wins ultimately defeating the strong Circle team 25-19, 22-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-13.
