High school basketball teams begin 2010 with wins

        The Lady Terriers played a tough battle against the Plevna Cougars Saturday, Jan. 2, coming away with a win - something that has not happened in the last couple years.  

It was a rough game with lots of fouls on both sides.  
The Cougars played tough defense forcing the Terriers to execute. 
The final score was Terry 43, Plevna 37.  

The following is a list of each players final scores: Amanda Haidle - 11, Dani Dukart - 11, Lindsay Stickel - 2, Carly Stickel - 4, Anna Fredrickson - 3, Amy Browning - 6, and Franque Robertson - 4.       

        The boys’ basketball team started the New Year on firm footing as they came away with a 55-30 win over the Plevna Cougars Saturday night at home.

Terriers demonstrated good ball movement and worked the ball up the court, finding the open man and seeing the floor.  
The following is a list of the players final scores:  Jerett Freiboth - 22, Talon Mack - 3, Taylor Pisk - 4, Trevor Pisk - 7, Tanner Stickel - 10 and Trayton Schroeber - 6.
The Terriers will travel to Ekalaka Friday night with games starting at 3:30 p.m. There will be two half junior varsity games and two varsity games.  Jordan comes to Terry Saturday night with games again starting at 3:30 p.m.
