Lady Terriers add to wins; boys have rough week

         It was a good week for the Lady Terriers as they played in two away games and one home game - winning all three.

On Tuesday the Lady Terriers traveled to Savage to battle against the Warriors. Assistant coach Les Thomason acted as head coach for the game.
Falling behind in the game, according to coach Thomason, the girls managed to come back from a fifteen point deficit, to win by two points. 
The final score was Terry 50 and Savage 48.

Friday’s game was on Terry’s home court where the Terriers stole a win from the Wibaux Longhorns. 
Through most of the game, the action was tight and the score fairly close. The Terry girls pulled ahead and captured the win from the Longhorns.

To close out the weekend the Terry girls traveled to Plevna to take yet another win. Right off the bat the Terriers jumped ahead with an 11 point lead in the first quarter.  The Terriers outscored their opponent in all but the fourth quarter. 
The final score was Terry 42 and Plevna 28.

The Terriers boys’ basketball team had a full week of games beginning with an away game against the Savage Warriors on Tuesday.  
The boys were outscored in the first half by 15 points, but managed to play even with the Warriors in the second half. Terry lost by a score of 39-54.  
Terry — Trayton Schroeber 2, Trevor Pisk 8, D.J. Hubbert 3, Talon Mack 4, Jerett Freiboth 12, Tanner Stickel 8, and Taylor Pisk 2. 
On Friday, the Terriers faced a tough Wibaux Longhorn team.   In the first half Terry was able to out-hustle the Longhorns and kept the game close. Unfortunately, Terry’s shooters went cold and were unable to score, allowing Wibaux to pull away with the win.  
The score was Terry 49 Wibaux 71.
Terry — Trevor Pisk 12, Sergey Fredrickson 5, Talon Mack 2, Jerett Freiboth 11, Weston Luedtke 2, Tanner Stickel 6, and Taylor Pisk 6.
Terry was able to finish the week with a victory over the Plevna Cougars. In a tight first quarter the boys held on to a three point lead. The tale of the game lies with Terry lighting up the Cougars with twenty-five points in the second quarter.  
Terry won the game with 59 points while Plevna scored 36.
