American Legion to meet in Terry April 18

        Timothy Rittal, commander of American Legion Post #32 in Terry said today about 75 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the spring meeting of District No. 10 on Sunday, April 18, 2010.
Rittal said there are about 900 Legionnaires in district No. 10. Posts are located in Miles City, Sidney, Glendive, Circle, Terry, Baker, Forsyth, Ekalaka, Richey, Lame Deer, Fairview and Broadus.
Registration for the spring meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the American Legion, located at 112 S. Logan in Terry (Take Main Street to Stockman Bank and turn right on Logan). At 10 a.m., the adjutants, commanders and department officers presentations will begin, followed by a veterans’ benefits workshop at 11 a.m.
A joint banquet will begin at 12 p.m., with Department Vice Commander David Driver of Great Falls as guest speaker.
The Legion business meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m., with District Commander Robert Crow of Miles City conducting the Legion meeting. The host unit of Terry will conduct the Auxiliary meeting, to be held at the bank.
