Church plans 100th anniversary

The Sacred Heart Church in Terry will be celebrating its 100th year anniversary next week.

The 100th anniversary will begin with a Friday evening Mass on June 11. Brunch in the basement of the Catholic Church will be held from 10 am to 2 pm Saturday, June 12. Saturday’s event will include a video presentation of the church’s history and a guest speaker. Historical displays of the Terry, Fallon and Mildred Catholic Churches will also be available.
After Sunday’s 11 am Mass, the public is invited to attend a picnic in Murn Park. Hot dogs, hamburgers and buns will be furnished. Those attending may bring salads.
If you have any historical items that you would like displayed during the 100th Sacred Heart celebration, please label and leave item(s) at the church. Please contact Ed Ban or Barb Macioroski for further information.
