Center spotlights work of local photographer

Prairie County is home to many talented artists and the Prairie Community Center (Senior Center) is taking advantage of this by spotlighting an artist each quarter. To begin this new event, the Prairie Community Center will be displaying the photographs of Eddie Gaub from June 14 through the 18.

“We are fortunate to have many gifted people in our area and hope that we can get them to exhibit their art work at the center,” Council on Aging President John Roos explained.   There will be a tea, open to the public, on Wednesday, June 16, from 2-4 p.m.
Eddie Gaub will be on hand to show and discuss his photographs taken of the beautiful badlands of Prairie County.
Everyone is invited to come to the Community Center to meet and greet the photographer.
