Tribune earns newspaper awards

  The Terry Tribune won several awards in the Montana Newspaper Association’s 2009 Better Newspaper Contest. The annual gathering, which recognizes newspapers statewide in various divisions, was held in Bozeman June 19.

Awards received included: Best In-Depth/Investigative Reporting, third place, for three-part series on road access issues; Best Government Reporting, second place, for “Vying to be heard - lobbyists’ position in Montana politics; Best On-Line News Product, second place for Terry Tribune Web site.
The contest was judged by the New Mexico Press Association.
