Girls basketball win games, youth halftime set to begin

  Due to the dangerous winter weather encountered on Saturday, Friday’s game in Jordan was the only competition the girls’ basketball squads played over the weekend. The junior varsity and varsity teams played the Mustangs in Jordan. 

Saturday's game that was to be played in Ekalaka has been rescheduled to be played on Tuesday, February 18 in Ekalaka.
Leading the Lady Terriers in their junior varsity victory of 42-41, were hot hands Anna Fredrickson with 17, including five three pointers and Caitlin Lantis with 10. Others scoring were: Ashley Morast 2, Lexie Schlosser 8, Mikayla Ridenhower 4, Kensi Keller 2, and Alyssa Morast 1. Scoring for the Mustangs were: C. Murnion 6, C. Billing 11, J. Baker 4, S. Phipps 2, S. Tredway 4, A. Billing 11, K. Cosgriff 1, and K. Phipps 2.
In varsity action, the Lady Terriers handed Jordan a 55-26 loss. Leading Terry in scoring were: Dani Dukart with 14 and Amy Browning with 12.
Others scoring were: Lindsay Stickel 9, Carly Stickel 3, Kristina
Fredrickson 2, Kensi Keller 2, Anna Fredrickson 3, Amanda Haidle 8, and Franque Robertson 2. Scoring for Jordan was: S. Murnion 11, C. Murnion 2, S. Tredway 2, S. Bollinger 2, C. Wright 7, and K. Phipps 2.
On Tuesday night, the junior varsity squad traveled to Circle to take on the Wildcats. They came out victorious by a score of 56 – 36. 
Continuing on her three point streak, Fredrickson again led the Terriers with 23, including four treys from behind the arc. 
Others scoring for Terry were: Lantis 7, Schlosser 10, Keller 10, Caty Morrison 2, and Alyssa Morast 4.
Scoring for Circle were: F. Haynie 4, E. Lawson 26, M. Skyberg 4, A. Larson 2, and K. Larson 2.
The next action scheduled for the Terriers will be on Friday as they travel to St. Labre. Saturday they will host the Custer Cougars. Saturday will consist of only two varsity games, the girls at 5:30 and the boys at 7:00.
Beginning Saturday will be the youngsters ages K-5th grade playing at halftime of the basketball games. Come out and watch the future of Terry basketball!
