Lady Terriers add two more wins to season

With cooperating weather, the Lady Terriers were able to compete in two basketball games this weekend - Friday night against the Wibaux Longhorns and Saturday against the Plevna Cougars. 

There will be three games this week - and they’re all home games. Tuesday night the Terriers faced off against the Savage Warriors, Thursday the Terriers challenge the Northern Cheyenne Eagles and Saturday night’s game is against the Ekalaka Bulldogs.
  The JV team had a full game against the Longhorns on Friday, but were unsuccessful in getting a win, finishing with a final score of 14-36.
Scoring for Terry was Morast 1, Lantis 2, Schlosser 2, Morrison 4 and Robertson 5. Scoring for Wibaux, Franz 3, Grodki 6, Leach 5, Smith 8 and Schieffer 14.
Rated second in the conference the Longhorns were a good competitor for the Terriers, but the girls’ varsity team held their ground, beating the Longhorns 51-47.
Scoring for Terry: L. Stickel 11, C. Stickel 12, Dukart 21, Browning 5, and Haidle 2. Scoring for Wibaux: Bakken 2, Sokoloski 9, P. Schieffer 18, Leach 5, S. Schieffer 2, Beach 11.
Saturday had the Terriers on the road to Plevna, where the Terriers beat the Cougars by nine, 56-47.
Scoring for Terry: L. Stickel 7, C. Stickel 16, Keller 2, Dukart 6, Browning 16, Haidle 6, Robertson 3. Scoring for Plevna: L.Walker 10, Webb 2, Tunby 16, Steffes 4, J. Walker 13, Benner 2.
The Mentor players will be playing at all three games this week during half time. Terrier fans are encouraged to stop in, cheer on and support the Terriers and little Pups.
