Terry hosted the Northern Cheyenne Eagles Thursday night. Eagles came up with the win 84-62.
"The guys played really well,” said head coach Nathan Christofferson in an email to the Tribune. “(They) just made some turnovers that seemed to put us down and we weren't able to recover."
Terriers were led in scoring by Trevor Pisk 17; followed by Jerett Freiboth 15, Talon Mack 8, Trayton Schroeber 7, Josh Stickel 6, DJ Hubbert 4, Sergey Fredrickson 4, David Hyer 1.
Saturday night Terriers played host once again. This time to the Ekalaka Bulldogs.
Terry met with the Bulldogs earlier in the season, ending in a 1-point loss. This time the Terriers came through and ended on top with a final score of 69-54.
Terry started off hot. They ended the first quarter ahead, 23-16. During the second quarter the Terriers seemed to slow their pace, going into the half, down 28-33.
After the half it seemed to be an equally fought battle, but Terry was still running short of the lead at the end of the third quarter. Terriers were down 14 points at one point during the game. In the fourth quarter the Terriers put 27 points on the board and held the Bulldogs to 4 points.
"It was a tough battle that we really needed,” Christofferson said. “It really showed that we are a strong team, being down and coming back strong to finish the game. The kids never gave up."
