I'm Lotty Rambur and I have lived in Prairie County for most of my life and currently reside in Terry. I taught school in Terry for 32 years and retired from teaching last spring. I'm deeply concerned about our community and shudder to think what would happen to our community without the hospital/nursing home.

Why are you interested in this position?
I think the hospital/nursing home  is vital to our community and I would like to do everything in my power to keep the facility functioning. We have many senior citizens that live in our community and I care about their needs.  Because we live in a rural area, it's also important to have the hospital, clinic, and medical staff here for not only emergency situations but also for routine medical visits.

What qualities do you possess that will be most useful serving on the hospital board?
I feel I'm a caring and compassionate person and like to serve others. I guess that's why I chose teaching as a profession and feel I can continue to serve our community by becoming a trustee. I also have a personal reason to serve as I have had family members in the past and currently have a family member living in the facility which gives me a different perspective than perhaps other board members.
