Rodeo attracts crowds, area talent

Terry Roping Club hosted its 63rd annual Fourth of July Rodeo on Monday, which drew in participants and crowds from throughout the region including Terry, Circle, Broadus, Glendive and Miles City.

Ray Granmoe once again served as the announcer. The rodeo’s grand entry included a vocal performance of the National Anthem by Layna Grue.
Changes were made to this year’s rodeo, which included the elimination of several events including the kids sheep milking and ladies pole bending, among other changes made. Comment sheets were provided inside pamphlets this year in an attempt to obtain feedback from rodeo goers, according to co-secretary Sharilyn Kortum. Club members will use those comments to determine what future changes to make.
Rodeo results will be listed in an upcoming Tribune issue. More rodeo pictures are on page 8 and 9.
