Glendive company chosen for exporting award

          SRS Crisafulli Inc. has been selected as the 2008 Montana Exporter of the year, according to a Montana Department of Commerce press release. Gov. Brian Schweitzer and Megan Harrington, chair of the Montana District Export Council made the announcement Thursday.           

          Based in Glendive, SRS Crisafulli supplies electro-mechanical hydraulic systems and products to over 5,500 customers throughout the United States and in over 40 countries. In 2008, the company's export sales totaled $750,000, which equaled to over 20 percent of the overall sales. The company designs, engineers, manufactures, sells, installs and services a wide variety of SRS Crisafulli dredges, pumps, power units, necessary accessories and parts.

          The DEC, which presented the District Export Council governor's Excellence in Exporting Award, is a volunteer organization made up of statewide businesses, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations.
