This year marks the 49th Anniversary of the Montana Wilderness Association “Wilderness Walks” program, making it one of the most enduring and popular outdoor education programs in the country. Wilderness Walks provide an excellent opportunity to experience and learn about some of Montana’s most spectacular wildlands.
Prairie County voters elected Lotty Rambur to serve as a trustee on the Prairie Community Hospital Board. Rambur received 130 votes; Michael Sterchi received 54.

Prairie County Chamber of Commerce invites all area businesses and organizations to attend the Montana Superhost customer service workshop, “Lost and Found in Montana”. The workshop will be at the Stockman Bank, 117 Logan Ave, on Thursday, May 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This session is free of charge to all participants.
The National Weather Service in Glasgow, in conjunction with Prairie County Department of Emergency Service will be hosting a free Skywarn weather spotter training course on May 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Prairie Community Hospital District trustee election will be held May 3 at the Terry High School lobby. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
