The Prairie County Extension Office has teamed with a committee of livestock producers and the Prairie County Grazing District to plan a range tour planned especially for Prairie County producers at Fort Keogh on June 30th.

While Miles City’s flooding threat remains minimal for the time being, officials continue to prepare in case any problems arise with thunderstorm downpours or snow melting in the mountains.
The Prairie County Museum is operating under its regular summer season hours which are: Monday 9 am - 3 pm; Tuesday closed; Wed. - Fri. 9 am - 3 pm; Saturday and Sunday 1 pm - 4 pm. T-shirts, depicting a famous Evelyn Cameron photograph, are also being offered for sale to visitors of the museum complex. The t-shirts were donated to the museum.
The Terry Tribune received three awards during the Montana Newspaper Association’s annual convention held in Lewistown on Saturday, June 11. The Tribune earned one first place plaque and two third place awards for small weeklies.
The Prairie County Motorcycle Association is a hosting a “Rocking the T” event that will focus on refurbishing Terry’s ‘T’ located north of Terry. Those interested in participating are invited to meet Sunday, June 26 at 2 p.m. on Scenic View Road.

In 2008 Evelyn Cameron Heritage Inc. of Terry, Mont. acquired through the donation and contract for purchase a private collection of Evelyn Cameron photographs held by the Deppe family. In mid-April 2011 the Deppe family donated their remaining interest in the collection to Evelyn Cameron Heritage Inc.
New library aide Christina Ehinger is set to begin the children’s summer reading program at the Prairie County Library later this month. Christina replaces outgoing library aide Kelly Ruddat, who moved last week to Pierre, South Dakota.
