Reukauf named pres of Mid-Rivers telephone co-op

 

 
Mid-Rivers Telephone Cooperative members met at the Garfield County High School Gymnasium in Jordan on Wednesday, May 27, for Mid-Rivers' 57th Annual Meeting to elect three members to the cooperative's board of trustees and to conduct other cooperative business. Trustees re-elected to three-year terms were Mark Robbins, District 1; Don Kimmel, District 2; and Nick Murnion, District 3.

Fly-in set for June 13-14

  Terry’s annual fly-in days organized by Prairie Unique owners Dale and Kathy Galland will be held at the Prairie County Airport June 13 and 14. The event, which draws in over 40 radio control airplane enthusiasts from around the state and region, will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday and continue until dark. On Sunday the fly-in will run from 8 a.m. until noon.

Paddlefish harvest season closes

        With Montana's paddlefish harvest quota expected to be reached, the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission agreed today to close the 2009 paddlefish harvest season on the Yellowstone River and the Missouri River below Fort Peck Dam on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 9 p.m.

Miles City set to host range days

 
Miles City, Montana – Montana Range Days, the largest rangeland educational event in the region, will be held in Miles City June 15-17.  More than 300 youth and adults are expected to join rangeland experts for three days to discuss rangeland management and the ecology of Montana’s most abundant natural resource.
