Varsity girls take wins during busy game schedule

Getting used to rescheduling due to the weather, Terry again played only one game over the weekend, traveling to Melstone to take on the Broncs Friday afternoon. With poor road conditions Saturday, the Hysham game was rescheduled for Monday night. Tuesday’s previously scheduled game against the Ekalaka Bulldogs in Terry ended the three game haul.

Twenty-two teams compete in weekend coyote calling contest
Frigid temperatures left 22 teams collecting only 13 coyotes during the 11th annual Prairie County Sportsman Association’s coyote calling contest. The contest took place Jan 7-9.

Girls basketball win games, youth halftime set to begin

Due to the dangerous winter weather encountered on Saturday, Friday’s game in Jordan was the only competition the girls’ basketball squads played over the weekend. The junior varsity and varsity teams played the Mustangs in Jordan.
Boys lose to Busby, win two at home
Terry boys basketball traveled to Busby Friday to take on the Eagles for Terry's first game. The final score was Terry 43 Northern Cheyenne 87.
Girls jump head on into season

After practicing since November 22, the Lady Terriers’ varsity and junior varsity teams got plenty of game action as between the two teams, they played five games in five days. It was nice to finally compete against a team other than their own.
Terry players named to All-Conference team
Three Terry High School football players were named to the 6-man Eastern All-Conference team. They are senior quarterback Jerett Freiboth, and junior players Weston Luedtke and Trevor Pisk.
