They are lining up and ready to play. That’s according Sharilyn Kortum, one of a handful of organizers preparing for the crowd pleasing and popular alumni basketball games. With players spanning from 1976 to 2012 graduates, this year’s games are sure to entertain, Kortum said.

With three games under their belt, the Lady Terriers have a 2-1 record so far this season. Terry traveled to Poplar Friday, Dec. 7 for the first game of the 2012-13 season. The Terry girls won handily with a 67-34 victory.
The crowd pleasing and popular alumni basketball games are returning this year. Games will be played Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Terry High School gymnasium. A start time will be announced at a later date.

Now into the second week of practices, the Terry High School basketball season is just kicking into gear with coaches from both the girls and boys teams expecting strong, competitive action on the court from their players. Despite the loss of three seniors from last year, overall player numbers for the girls team has remained steady for the 2012-13 season — down only one, from 14 to 13 players.
