With fall sports wrapped up for the year, athletes switched modes in order to begin preparation for the 2010-2011 basketball season. Athletes commenced at the gym for their first day of basketball practice on Monday, November 22, 2010.

1989 turned out to be a pretty good year for Terry High School volleyball. That year, the Lady Terriers won the state C volleyball crown, and current head coach Jasmine Freiboth was born.
The Terry Terrier football season ended Saturday with a 64-21 loss to the Denton Trojans in quarterfinal action, ending their best season in 11 years.
The Lady Terriers are heading to State. Finishing in first place, after taking down four teams at the Eastern Division tournament in Sidney, Nov. 4-6, the Terry team will be competing at the All Class State volleyball tournament in Bozeman Nov. 11-13.

The Lady Terriers brought home a first place trophy from the 2C District volleyball tournament held in Glendive Oct. 28 - 30.
The Terriers played host to the ReedPoint/Rapelje Renegades in a first round playoff game Saturday, Oct. 30, coming away with a solid 71-50 win over the Renegades.
The Dawson County High School boys and girls cross country teams had a great weekend winning the Eastern A Fall Classic, which is the divisional cross country meet. Both teams were led by the Lantis duo of Caitlin and Layne. Caitlin won the meet by a beating all other girls in the Eastern A with a very impressive 19:28 over the hilly three mile course.
The Lady Terriers played two games last week winning both. On Tuesday they traveled to Rosebud, winning in three. Saturday night found the Lady Terriers in Hysham, again winning in three.
The Terriers traveled to Savage Friday night to take on the Warriors in a battle of unbeatens.

The Terriers hosted the Ekalaka Bulldogs on Saturday and posted a 58-20 victory, bringing their season record to 6-0.
