Winners announced for 4th of July Rodeo events

Youth basketball camp begins June 29
Young athletes who want to hone in on the fundamentals of basketball and also improve shooting techniques are invited to attend a youth basketball camp being held at the Terry High School gym June 29, 30 and July 1. The session for boys and girls kindergarten through eighth grade will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. starting June 29. High school girls will meet 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the three-day camp.
Track athletes return with state medals
The Terry High School boys and girls track teams received a warm send-off last week by teachers, students and parents, as the track and field athletes boarded the bus Wednesday to compete at the Class C state track meet in Missoula. Those returning home who placed at the state meet included: Layne Lantis, 2, 3200, 10:28.26; Jerett Freiboth, 4, javelin, 167-4; Trevor Pisk, 5, javelin, 160-6; Carly Stickel, 2, 400, 60.86; Dani Dukart, 2, shot put, 35-1.5 and 5, javelin, 118-6; Franque Robertson 4, shot put, 34-2.

Still time to register for Hershey’s meet in Glendive
Glendive will be hosting a Hershey's Track & Field Meet on Saturday, June 4th at Perham Field. Kids aged 9 – 14 are encouraged to sign up. Events will begin at 4 pm. Entry forms can be picked up at the Terry Super Valu or the Glendive Recreation Department. Late entry forms are being accepted. Please bring forms into the Glendive Rec on or before June 4.
Track teams take second at divisional
Both the Terry High School boys and girls track teams captured second place team trophies at the Southern C Divisional meet in Laurel last week.
Terry finishes top at district
Girls take first, boys second at District 4-C meet
The Terry track teams displayed their strengths in a range of running and field events during the District 4C meet in Glendive last week, earning the girls team a first place finish, while the boys placed second – just eight points shy of the top spot.

The Terry High School track team traveled to Sidney Thursday, April 21 to compete at the Sidney Invitational track meet.

The following track and field results listed are from the Baker Invitational held in Glendive April 16.
Terry will host 5th grade basketball tourney
Four teams will be taking part in a girls’ basketball tournament in Terry Sunday, April 17. The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. and is scheduled to end about 3 p.m.
