Obituaries

  Donald Irvin Stanfield, Jr.,63, passed away on Saturday April 23rd in Polson, MT.  He was born on December 7, 1947 in Orange County, California to Donald and Lillian Stanfield.   From California they moved to Great Falls, MT, where he graduated from Great Falls High.  He attended and graduated from MSU. 

 George J. Rittal, age 92, of Fallon passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Prairie Community Nursing Home in Terry.

        Esther K. Sackman, daughter of Jacob and Salomena Sackman, was born November 13, 1918, on a farm southeast of Ashley, North Dakota.  She was the ninth of fourteen children.  The family moved to a farm southeast of Fallon, Montana, in 1923 where she attended school.

      Carl (Bud) Pisk, age 87, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at the Prairie Community Health

Center, in Terry, MT. 
      Bud was born September 7, 1923 to Joe and Katherine Fornall Pisk in Dawson County at his parents

      Pauline Morast, age 98 of Terry passed away on April 2, 2011 at TLC Assisted Living Center surrounded by her family.

 Janet Sharbono, age 71, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at St. Vincents Hospital in Billings, Montana. 

  Aileen Maryan (Cooper) Hess, 91, passed peacefully Tuesday afternoon, February 15, 2011 at Friendship Villa.  

  Alvin Walter Gackle, age 88, of Terry passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 after a short stay  at the Prairie County Nursing Home in Terry.

        Jackie Schieffer, 48, Fargo, ND died on Friday, December 10, 2010 at her home. 

  Jerry Tusler, age 79, passed away Friday morning, Jan. 21, 2011, of a massive heart attack as he was leaving his house to go to work.
