Randy C. Schwartz, a decorated war veteran, of Miles City passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011, at the age of 43 as a result of injuries from a plane crash near Forsyth, MT.
Isidor Sackman, age 86, of Glendive formerly of Sidney and Fallon, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011 at the Glendive Medical Center in Glendive.
John Heimbuch, age 97, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care in Glendive, Montana. Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Glendive with Pastor James Hageman officiating. Interment will be held in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive.
On July 27th at 9:50 p.m. Esther Gackle Kogele, beloved and cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with her Savior and Lord. He wrapped his arms around her and whispered in her ear “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Richard “Rick” Glen Parker, 53, of Missoula, Mont., formerly of Terry, died of multiple sclerosis July 30, 2011 at the Superior Montana nursing home.
Knut Arne Raade was born in Oslo, Norway on March 7, 1942 to Arne and Ingrid Raade. He died at age 69 at his home in Bozeman on July 28, 2011 of cancer.
Sheryl Kay (Miller) Helmuth age 63 passed away July 26, 2011 at her home in the arms of her loving husband and family. She died after a seven-year battle with leukemia. A special thank you for the excellent care received by caregivers Suzanne and Lorna Wollman.
Sheila Marie Rakes, age 58, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, MT.
Clara Beatrice Pering, age 96, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Friendship Villa, where she had resided since March of this year.
Rickey Frank Pisk, 60, passed away April 21, 2011 at the Billings Hospital after a 3 month valiant fight with leukemia. Rickey was the oldest son, born on July 18, 1950, to Frank and Darlane Kuehn Pisk. He attended Terry Schools, graduating in 1968. Ric enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany. After serving his country, he returned to Montana. He attended college in Wahpeton, Miles City and Billings where he earned his air conditioning and refrigeration degree.
