Polly A. Norris, 92
Polly A. Norris died early Saturday morning Dec. 17, 2011 after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 2, 1919 on the family homestead north of Terry to Ray Grant and Matilda Pettersen Grant, the youngest of 4 children. At the age of 6 Polly and her family moved into Terry so she and her siblings could attend school. However Polly always said the best times were the summers spent out home in the country. She graduated from Terry High School in 1937 having attended all 12 yrs in Terry.

On November 18, 2011, Edith Shirley Bacon went to sleep in the hope of Jesus soon return. She was born on October 23, 1915 to Kathleen (Dersham) and Neil Cole. She was the third of eight children raised on a ranch in eastern Montana.

Alvin Schmidt, 83, of Cascade, MT, an Air Force veteran and a retired Chief Master Sergeant for the Montana Air National Guard, died of natural causes Sunday, October 23, 2011, at a local care facility.
His memorial service, with military honors, will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Chapel on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. A private burial will be held later. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
