Beverly Reuther, age 75, of Terry passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Prairie Community Hospital in Terry from a short battle with cancer.

Bev was born on August 12, 1944 in Sidney, Montana, the daughter of Carl & Emma (Haffner) Rein. She was the 3rd born out of 4 children. She lived her childhood out on the farm. She attended Anderson and Newlon country schools before moving to Cracker Box in March of 1956 where she attended Terry Public Schools, graduating in 1963. She married Rodger Reuther on August 6th, 1965 at the Congregational Church in Fallon. They made their home on CB Route until late fall of 1966, when they moved to the Fallon Flat after the death of Roddy’s father. At that time, they took over the operation of the family farm. They worked side by side for 20 years running the farm and ranch. During that time, they had two daughters: Suzanne in 1966 and Diedra in 1968. In 1986 Bev and Roddy moved to Terry and Bev became very active in her community through jobs and volunteer work. Bev had many jobs through the years including working at L & M, Liquor Store, Netzer Hardware, Shadehill Campground Host, dispatcher at the Sheriff’s Office, Senior Center, and helping with the farming and ranching. During harvest she helped haul sugar beets for her parents and brothers. She also had several part-time jobs including Terry grocery store, mowing lawns, being a backup mail carrier, watching visitations for Stevenson two daughters: Suzie Reuther and Diedra (David) Johnson; granddaughter Sam Reuther; a sister Marilyn (Elmer) Frank; a brother Doug (Caryn) Rein; sister-in-law Donna (Glenn) Kuehn; sister-in-law Marguerite Rein; her nieces and nephews: David, Steve, Tana and Darin Rein, Deb Wheeler, Kevin, Greg, and Cindy Frank, Paula and Pete Rein and Tara Kuehn. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Rein.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Stevenson
