Gottlieb Schock

Gottlieb Schock, 76, Marsh, died last Wednesday in a

Miles City hospital.

He was born June 27, 1893, at Glueckstal, South Russia, where he was reared. In 1913 he came to the United States and homesteaded near Marsh. In April 1918, he enlisted in the Army. He was discharged in 1919 and returned to Marsh.

On Jan. 20, 1920, he married Elizabeth Siegle in Marsh and he had farmed in the Marsh area since then.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Erwin, Marsh; two daughters, Mrs. Otto Opp, Glendive, and Mrs. Edwin Stickel, Fallon; three brothers, Ed and John, both of Glendive, and Christ of Fallon. There are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
